This is the piece I did the depicting Michael Martin Murphey in a familar pose. It took about a year to complete. Michael Martin Murphey did not even pose for it. I simply observed him while we were on stage for the detail. Each tour I would focus on a different piece of his outfit.
The piece is a thank you for the many years of music and support. His fans and mother like the piece and think it looks like him--that is the greatest complement.
