Gary Roller's expressions in music and art have touched the hearts and minds of many thousands of people across the US and abroad. MUSIC HISTORY His years performing music continually brings him into contact with people who become fans of the music and collectors of his art. He is best known as long time member of MICHAEL MARIN MURPHEY'S RIO GRANDE BAND. He is proud of his more than 3,600 performances of the famous song WILDFIRE to enthusiastic audiences across the U.S. In addition, Gary Roller occasionally performs with other nationally recognized recording artists including SUSY BOGGUSS, Grammy award winners ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL and RIDERS IN THE SKY, HOLLY DUNN, HAL KETCHUM and LYNN ANDERSON Roller performs at many of America's premier entertainment venues including: JOHNNY CARSON'S TONITE SHOW, THE GRANDE OLE OPRY, AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, BASS HALL, THE MAJESTIC THEATRE, THE UNITED STATES CAPITAL, THE CLINTON INAUGURAL BALL, ROCKEFELLER PLAZA/THE RAINBOW ROOM, RED ROCKS AMPLITHEATRE, THE GREEK THEATRE, HOUSE OF BLUES, OPRYLAND, WILH HORSE SALOON, MANY MAJOR LAS VEGAS CASINOS, OVER 25 WEST FESTS, MUSUEM OF NATURAL HISTORY, NATIONAL COWBOY HALL OF FAME and hundreds of others. On numerous occasions he has been in productions starring: WILLIE NELSON, MERLE HAGGARD, THE JUDDS, RANDY TRAVIS, ROY ROGERS, THE BEACH BOYS, GEORGE STRAIT, EMMY LOU HARRIS, REBA MCENTIRE, CRYSTAL GAYLE, RIDERS IN THE SKY, THE TEXAS PLAYBOYS, NITTY GRITTY DIRT BAND and many others. During these performances he gets to play in a wide range of musical formats including: over 70 symphony shows with Americas leading orchestras, festivals, art centers, dances as well as music around the chuck wagon campfire.
