TELEVISION/VIDEO/MOTION PICTURE HISTORY

Gary Roller's musical talents are sometimes enjoyed by TV and motion picture audiences. He appeared in the movie ROADIE with ALVIN CROW and PLEASANT VALLEY BOYS. Later, he was cast in a number of music videos with Murphey including the award winning LONG LINE OF LOVE. Other videos include Murphy's ROUTE 66, DISENCHANTED, COWBOY CHRISTMAS BALL, MISS YOU GIRL, NEVER GIVIN' UP ON LOVE from the motion picture PINK CADALLAC starring CLINT EASTWOOD and BERNADETTE PETERS.

These varied experiences have shaped Roller into a versatile and seasoned musician with vast experience in many areas of the entertainment industry.

Roller, probably best known for his music work is also a well known and respected visual artist. His works are collected by many of the famous people he has worked with and music fans across America and many foreign countries.

His love for various creative disciplines has found expression in the ROCKIN' R CHUCKWAGON and GALLERY in Placitas New Mexico. Roller has drawn from his entertainment experience and added his skills as artist to create a crossroads for music and art. Here fans of his music and art enjoy chuck wagon gatherings around the campfire in a colorful, whimsical, western setting. The setting is inspired by a DISNEY short called PECOS BILL and several gallery artists have collaborated in its design and construction. Michael Martin Murphey called it a “magical place”. Country folk legend Bill Hearne called it the “best venue he has played” MIKE HEARNE called it a really fun and intimate place to play. TOO SLIM of RIDER'S IN THE SKY exclaimed recently after a rousing standing ovation at the ROCKIN'R “You've got quite a place here, Gary”!
